O Father, Sometimes my faith is so diminished that I hardly believe in You at all.

That's the way I'm feeling. I'm discouraged - angry at all the things happening in my life right now - upset at You for letting things go this way.

I'm sorry, Abba, but that's how I feel. It wouldn't do any good to lie to You, since You know my thoughts - even the ones I'd like to hide.

But talking with You this way - honestly and openly - please forgive me, Father. Though I know You allow things to happen in my life that I don't like, I know they aren't Your will for me, for You have said in Your Word, "I know the plans I have for you...Plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." [Jeremiah 29:11]

Thank You so much for listening. For understanding and forgiving. For rekindling my faith in You. Thank You for Your peace that passes all understanding [Philippians 4:7]!
