Dear Lord, In Isaiah 26:3, You have said "Thou wilt keep him (or her) in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee."  Are You not the One who spoke the world into existence through Your Word? Are You not the One who opened the Red sea and let Your people, Israel, march through to safety? ...And was it not You who said to the leper who cried out "If Thou wilt, Thou canst make me clean" --"I will, be clean"? Are You not the One who spoke at the grave of Lazarus, "Lazarus, come forth?" Are You not the One who opened blind eyes, who healed all manner of diseases; who is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and has promised, "I am the Lord that healeth thee" (Exodus 15:26)? Therefore, dear Lord, while I commit my future to You, and while I surrender my health, in life or death to You, yet I believe my work is not yet done. so I am asking that You will fulfill this promise, and I believe that You are healing me, unworthy and sinful though I am.
