The Eighth Commandment.

"You shall not steal." ~Exodus 20:15.

In its simplest form, stealing is taking something that doesn't belong to us. Webster's dictionary defines it as taking something without permission. Whether it is an object, time, or a reputation. Plain and simple, GOD says, "Don't do it."

When we "borrow" without asking prior permission [Exodus 22:1-4]; that is stealing. When we take "unfair advantage" of someone [Leviticus 6:1-5]; that is stealing. When we don't "immediately pay our bills" by the due date [Leviticus 19:13], that is stealing. When we don't "give a full day's labor" but are paid for one [Titus 2:9,10], that is stealing. When we talk about other people and what they are doing [Romans 1:30; Ephesians 4:29], and they get a bad reputation because of our words, that is stealing.

When we withhold tithe from GOD, that is stealing. GOD says we are to bring the 'whole' tithe, not part of it, not most of it, but the whole of it into the storehouse. We are not to give it to anybody, even if they are in financial difficulty or they need it to buy medicine or whatever... The tithe is not ours. It is GOD's. Ten percent of our gross income, before taxes are taken out, is GOD's. If we use it for anything else, that is stealing. [Malachi 3:8-10a].

These are not my words, they are GOD's. Plain and simple, if we steal anything then we are sinning, and we will not be in the heavenly kingdom; nor can we be a Prayer Warrior here on this earth because we're told "if we regard iniquity in our heart, the LORD will not hear us." ~Psalm 66:18.
